The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra represents a subtle refinement of Samsung's flagship formula rather than a major revolution. It addresses the biggest comfort issues of its predecessor while upgrading key internal components to keep pace with modern performance demands.

🟢 The Good

• Much Better Ergonomics: Samsung finally ditched the sharp, pointy corners of the S24 Ultra in favor of slightly rounded corners and a narrower chassis. Shaving off 15 grams (down to 218g) makes a massive difference in hand comfort.

• Unmatched Display: The upgraded 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel is stunningly sharp, bright, and wrapped in razor-thin bezels. Its Corning Gorilla Armor glass does a phenomenal job of cutting down on screen reflections.

• Top-Tier Performance: Equipped with the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite "for Galaxy" processor and 12GB of RAM, this phone flies through everyday tasks, intense multitasking, and heavy gaming.

• Camera Versatility: The camera array is highlighted by a monstrous 200MP main sensor and a highly capable new 50MP ultra-wide lens, producing brilliant, highly-detailed photos and solid low-light performance.

🔴 The Bad & The "Meh"

• Boring Design: While highly functional, the design has become exceptionally minimal to the point of being a bit sterile. The camera lens bezels also have small, deep ridges that easily trap dust and pocket lint.

• Stagnant Battery & Charging: Samsung stuck with the same 5,000mAh battery capacity and 45W charging speed. While battery life easily gets you through a full day, Chinese competitors are routinely pushing 6,000mAh+ capacities and much faster charging speeds.

• Slow Shutter Speed: Despite the processing power, shutter lag remains an issue when photographing fast-moving subjects (like pets or kids) on the default settings.

• No Qi2 Magnetic Charging: Unlike some flagships, it still lacks built-in magnetic alignment on the back, meaning you’ll need a specialized case if you want to use magnetic accessories.
